
Gastronomic Meditations Nominated for
World Food Media Award
ADELAIDE, SOUTH AUSTRALIA - September 12, 2005 - A jury panel of esteemed members of the international food media has announced Gastronomic Meditations as a finalist for Best Food/Drink Site for the 2005 World Food Media Awards. Other finalists include the BBC Food Site (UK), Leite's Culinaria (US), KQED/Jacques Pepin's Fast Food My Way (US), and Cuisine (NZ).
The awards are held bi-annually, and recognize excellence in a broad range of food media, from food/drink journalism to broadcast media, print and online publishing. Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on October 29, 2005 in Adelaide, South Australia. Nominees in other categories include Nigella Lawson, Oz Clarke, and Anthony Bourdain.
